About who needs care: Cognitively fine. Not bedridden. Very friendly. She is able to walk with assistance. She is able to swallow liquid diet but has a feeding tube for food. My mom has Medicaid and would need Aide to join the CDPAP program though Medicaid. Pay rate is about $22 an hour.. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
