About who needs care: 25-30 hrs/week (Monday thru Friday 9a-3p) Caring for my mother, 68, who has GBM brain cancer. Daily tasks would include meal prep, light housekeeping, transport to/from doctors appts, grocery store and other errands. My mother is largely self sufficient in the home, however, she suffers from memory loss, is easily fatigued and/or confused. Caregiver is needed to make sure she eats balanced meals, is administered the correct medicine and has help with various household tasks. About the care needs: Caregiver must be able to drive. Must be OK with doing housekeeping throughout the day and other misc tasks. There is a lot of downtime Caregiver must be willing to assist in calling doctors/pharmacies on an as needed basis My mother is easily fatigued while walking and caregiver should be able to push a wheelchair when needed Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
