About who needs care: Stroke survivor, type 1 diabetes, AFIB, recovering very successfully and rapidly from a "scatter" stroke, lives with my dad, been there 63 years, they watch things, love train watching, she is 88 soon, he is 90 soon, he is unable to be sole caregiver to her, she will need a "spotter" to assist with walking, bathing, cooking. Stroke was only 2 weeks ago. Her speech is very good. Movement is improving daily. About the care needs: Female, not too young, maybe 40 or older, tolerant, not pierced on the face, not tattooed on the face, non smoker, have reliable transportation, no possibility of bringing their child or children with them. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
