Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Queens Village

About who needs care: My mother is suffering from Dementia / forgetfulness and at times she can be combative but, currently under Meds. to correct such. She will get up for her breakfast @ around 10-10:30 a.m. then she will go back to bed but, if she knows a stranger is in the house, she will try her best not to go to bed... she might say she's not hungry but, caregiver MUST be persistent and give her a snack or drink and she will take it. I will get home at 4:30 p.m. It's okay to have her go to bed until then. About the care needs: I need a mature, personable, person with emphaty for the elders, but yet, be firm when it comes to my mother and her behavior... she ate times could show a controlling demeanor. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
