About who needs care: Looking for someone to visit once a week to help get groceries; light laundry; light cleaning; companionship. I do not have all the details of what Lourdes might need. I am primarly looking for what resources are available in the Prattsville, NY area. About the care needs: I think whoever works with Ms. Lourdes will need a strong will. I understand that Ms. Lourdes can be extremely stubborn. Her darling grandchild (all in North Carolina) keep trying to get her to move here. She will not hear of it. Until something more permanent can be done, someone is needed to make sure that Ms. Lourdes is fed, clean and has what she needs. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
