Hello, my mother is proud and resistant to help so this would start as a 1-2 hour, 1-2 times per week companionship/errands job, hopefully growing into one with longer hours and help with bathing, meal preparation and light housework such as laundry. My mother is 78 years old, lives alone, and has 2 friendly cats. She is a funny, witty spitfire of a woman who needs help realizing she needs help. I am looking for a compassionate, patient and persuasive individual who can help her with daily tasks and keep her company. She has some memory loss but it improves with talking and interacting with people. The ideal candidate would not make it obvious they are a caretaker but approach the situation more as a friend who just wants to help out, whether that's driving to Family Dollar for light shopping or watching a TV show together.
