About who needs care: Stroke victim 18 months ago. Slight vertigo. Has some impairment on left side. Left-handed too. He is fully cognizant, able to joke, laugh, and carry conversations, but has hard time writing and remembering details. Difficulty dressing. (I am his sister. He is married to a teacher who has a busy job. They have a young puppy too. ) About the care needs: Generally, we are looking for a kind and helpful person. Dave (his name) is lighthearted, fun, and tends to be frustrated with his lack of capacity. He needs help in the morning to get going. Some help with the puppy. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
