Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Port Jefferson Station

About who needs care: My mother has Multiple Sclerosis and is mostly wheelchair bound but can use a walker for short distances. She is relatively independent but needs assistance mostly in mornings and afternoons with caring for her beloved cats, housekeeping, and cooking. If she is having a bad day with her symptoms she sometimes needs minor assistance to stand up, put on her socks, get her feet into her etc. About the care needs: I am looking for someone with a warm and caring personality. My mother just lost her mother who was her caregiver before she passed and she is grieving the loss and adjusting to life without her. Someone that will help and do things for her without having to be asked is what I am looking for. My mother is so sweet and appreciative but lacks the drive to ask for help when needed. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
