About who needs care: My Mom is great, she's funny, caring. She was diagnosed years ago with bi-polar, but her medication has helped significantly. She needs general companionship and help grocery shopping, getting around for errands, carrying groceries to the house, doing dishes, and maintaining organization. It would be helpful if someone could organize medication for her, make sure it's clear what to take each day so she doesn't get confused. She has her license and can drive herself, but I worry as the medication can have a significant effect on her cognitive abilities. She tends to overly rely on medication as a solution for so if someone can encourage walks, utilizing the pool/exercise and healthy diet, this would be great. About the care needs: Fun, upbeat, caring, 'strict', hold the person accountable, patient, energetic, a problem solver, good listener. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
