We need companion care for my 90-year-old father in law in North Tonawanda/Wheatfield. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets (cat and dog). He just recently came to stay with us and is suffering from short term memory loss; he sometimes forgets where the bathroom is and whose house he is at, so we can't leave him alone. We are looking for someone who can visit him 1-3 times a week for a couple hours to listen to him talk about 'the old country' and give him something to look forward to, and to be with him if we are not home. If you have any Eastern European heritage or languages, that would be a plus. Our schedule is very flexible. We would like someone who lives within 10-15 minutes from us in N. Ton/Wheatfield.
