About who needs care: He has significant memory loss, and has had a stroke in the past. He is on some light daily medication that he needs reminding to take. He primarily needs help to make sure he eats regularly and could use some daily company. He will not shower or bath unless nudged to! Hygiene needs attention, but he is very good natured and funny. About the care needs: Someone with a good sense of humor, who is comfortable joking around with him and also not afraid to be firm with him when he doesn't want to shower. He is a very fine artist (not able to practice anymore) so someone who appreciates the arts is helpful. He loves literature and used to be an avid reader. But he really loves just listening to other peoples lives and advising them. I would like someone who is conscious about healthy tasty food, and knows how to cook well.
