About the job
SATURDAY AND SUNDAYS ONLY afternoon 4 hours each day. My brother has dementia and related disabilities. Single, no children, lives alone. Has friends but no family in the area. He has recently quit smoking, and is a newly sober alcoholic. He has poor nutrition, is frail and prone to falling. He wants an aide for companionship. We seek person experienced with expressive aphasia, ambulation, help with tech, grocery shop with him, going for walks, light meals, has taken his pills. No special skills. Ideal is a non-smoking sober male, LGBTQ+ friendly, with same/similar interests: Live + recorded choral music, light opera, playing backgammon; watch golf, local news and Jeopardy on TV
