This is a bit of a unique position. I need someone to manage my father's care, who is in his 70s. He has MS and bouts of dementia (but is otherwise sharp). He has a team of about 4-5 aides that are with him 24-hours a day. Your job would be to manage his aides, attend doctor's appointments, coordinate with doctors, and pop in a few times a week to make sure everything is running smoothly. We are looking for someone who is kind, compassionate, diligent, thorough and communicative. This is a manager-type role -- not live-in assistance. Someone with a medical background/experience is preferred. What we are really looking for is someone who is reliable and can provide care management long term.
