Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In New Paltz

About who needs care: my father Bijan has Parkinson's and is recovering from Prostate Cancer (low testosterone from Hormone Therapy treatment), a newly replaced knee. and chronic lack of sleep. Primarily needs help with transportation to PT and dr appointments. some help around the house ie getting out of chair and shoes on etc. encouragement to do exercises. We're looking for someone to come 3ish hrs/day 3 or so times a week to help when wife cannot be around all the time. wont need 100% eyes on coverage. but willing to pay to be around for those times for when does need help. About the care needs: my dad would do best with a kind and encouraging caregiver. a cheerleader with upbeat and positive attitude. one who gently pushes him. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
