About who needs care: Mom presents with at least moderate dementia. She is relatively healthy otherwise. She enjoys socializing, fashion magazines. She used to be very attentive to her appearance but is losing the ability. She likes walking. Shopping centers. Ideally, I would love her to partake in some socialization, encouraging her to get dress and go out for a walk, ensure she eats a healthy lunch as appetite is diminished, I would love to encourage some exercise, like chair squats, ankle mobility and balance work, grip strength and maybe some creative work around coloring or other forms of art. About the care needs: Spanish speaking would be needed. Mom does want to improve her own English. A kind, loving person would be ideal. If she knows about exercise it would be great. Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
