About who needs care: My friend was having brain surgery for Parkinsons and they hit a blood vessel. She had a major stroke due to the brain bleed and was on life support. She is paralyzed on her left side She is right hand dominant. She goes to occupational and physical therapy. She also does speech therapy online. She has a Honda crv that an aide can drive her to therapy in and Dr appointments. She cannot walk . She can not use her left arm or hand at all. She has an excellent sense of humor and she is very sweet. She has a nurse in. That takes care of her a couple of days a week and one aid that I believe is still doing overnights. She lives in Nassau. I live nearby it takes me 20 minutes to arrive there. Looking for patient, kind, compassionate workers Prefer people with experience transferring patient from wheelchair to toilet, car, wherever she needs to be transferred to. I hope you can find some help. She has 2 aides leaving this week due to their main sources of income changing their work hours.
