CDPAP Case In Mount Sinai, 8am -8pm

About who needs care: Seeking caregivers for my mom in her 70s, previous stroke with right-sided weakness. Her care plan consists of assisting her with walking with a walker and using a transport chair, assisting with dressing and showers, minimal assistance in the bathroom (just helping her transfer - stand and pivot), taking her out for appointments, shopping, and recreational activities, meal prep, assisting her with exercises and therapies, light housekeeping, assisting with setting up her appointments and helping her research and schedule daily/weekly activities. She's bubbly and loves going out shopping and getting coffee. The caregivers must have their own vehicle to transport her in and be comfortable lifting the 15lb transport chair into their car when they go out with her. There are friendly cats in the home as well. The pay rate is $20. 22 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays, and gas is reimbursed weekly for taking her out. About the care needs: Caregivers must be: Patient Motivated Responsible Organized Enjoy shopping, going out, etc. English speaking Preferred but not required: Caregivers who have experience Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
