About who needs care: 87-year-old man in general good health with some manageable medical issues. Lives independently on a property with a guest house. Spends much of his time working as an author and is able to drive. Ideally seeking a couple to provide any needed medical care, housekeeping and grounds maintenance on a part-time basis. Weekends off. Cooking helpful but not essential. He would like to offer the guest house as compensation as he prefers to have someone on the property. It can be fully furnished and cable and utilities are included. About the care needs: Some medical background is preferred in light of his age. He loves conversation and wit. I have worked for 3 years as his secretarial assistant and can attest to his sharp mind and sense of humor. Loves film and theater. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
