Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Millbrook

About who needs care: Mom has a condition that causes progressive cognitive decline that can make life a little overwhelming. She loves the outdoors, took up mahjong (I don't think she ever really understood how to play, but she still liked going when she was still able to drive to play), and has a small dog who keeps her company. About the care needs: She doesn't have any physical limitations and doesn't require any skilled care. She mostly needs to borrow the executive functioning and memory of another adult. :) We'd like someone who can come by her home regularly to offer general assistance as well as help her to get out of the house. This includes accompanying her to medical visits, because she is unreliable in understanding or remembering the doctor's instructions. An ideal candidate will be able to offer compassionate assistance when she is frustrated by technology and show initiative in identifying needs around her house (e. g., noticing that she struggles to remember when trash day is, and collecting and putting out the trash for her or checking to see if her cell phone battery is dead because she's forgotten to plug it in). Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
