About the job
I'm looking for hands-on care for my father in his 70s. We are looking to employ someone who is a caring and compassionate companion for him during the day. We might ask you to run errands now and then, specifically prescription pick up. Some duties would include transportation to doctor appointments, some walking to get him moving when its nice out, and some exercise in house when its too cold or weather is not cooperating. We do have pets in the house, 2 pups and kittens. They are all people friendly. My father has been diagnosed with beginning Parkinson's and dementia. He needs help with just for walking around the house and showering, but able to do most things on his own with a watchful eye. We are also looking for someone that is stern with him but gentle.
