I'm looking for an upbeat, reliable, hands-on END OF LIFE caregiver for my mother with late-stage Alzheimer's. She is very happy and loves to sing and laugh but is mostly nonverbal. Must have prior experience with end-of-life care and have used Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand equipment and suction machines. Responsibilities include sit-to-stand operation, meal prep, feeding, clothes changing, toileting, and light housekeeping. Candidate must be strong and able to pull up my mom who is 130lbs in her recliner using a chux pad. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with small, friendly dogs.
