About who needs care: My Grandmother is 83 years old, she's bed ridden/unable to sit in a wheel chair for long periods and unable to walk. She has a foley catheter and wears diapers. She is very weak and sore. She is able to talk and eat on her own. Her needs consist of medication administration ( insulin pen 3x per day, some pills, diapering, bathing, and cooking). She enjoys watching action movies and talking. My grandmother also shows early signs of dementia, so she is confused at times. About the care needs: Caregiver should be able to lift and change diapers gently. A patient, calm, and understanding individual would be a good fit. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
