Were seeking a compassionate overnight Home Aide to support our amazing 17-year-old son, who has Dystonic Cerebral Palsy. This role involves providing care overnight during the school year, with more flexible hours available in the summer. You'll be working in our clean, spacious home in beautiful Ithaca, NY, and joining a family that values kindness, curiosity, and a good sense of humor! He is bright and quirky and seeks intellectual stimulation. He enjoys hanging out around town, exploring regional places, and watching abstract, math, and science videos. He is a junior in high school, fully integrated with his peers. *What You'll Be Doing: -Providing full personal care, including transfers and diaper changes -Helping with repositioning for comfort -Assisting with media and communication tools on his tablet and TV -G-Tube Feeding and pureed food preparation What Were Looking For: -Physically strong and tech-savvy -Flexible and adaptable a "go with the flow" attitude is key! - Comfortable around friendly dogs -Reliable transportation -Bonus points if you're into geeky interests and love sparking intellectual conversations -Willingness to relocate Experience: Nursing: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) RN (Required) Ithaca, NY
