About the job
Assistance with all ADLs, and transfers. Meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping & laundry as well as companionship & social interaction are essential. Please do not apply if you do not want to socially engage and want to watch tv or sit on your phone all day. This is not the job for you! My mother needs someone to remain actively engaged with her & take an interest in things that will stimulate her brain like word puzzles, games, etc. as well as do physical and therapy exercises with her. My mother uses a stand lift to transfer. Clean, non-smoker please. Need to be PCA or HHA certified and clearly speak English. The ideal candidate will be mature, honest, compassionate, dedicated & a team player. ***This is not private pay.
