About who needs care: Experience working with elderly patients with dementia -Must engage patient regularly during the shift -Requires mobility support for all movement Details -Cleaning, -cooking & feeding the patient -laundry and light housework -keeping the home hygienic -dispensing daily medication -engaging the patient in conversation -daily light exercise in the home -occasionally accompany patient to medical appointments About the care needs: English language fluency with no accent or an accent that is easily understandable by an very elder senior. Must be a willing to engage patient throughout the day with conversation and general kindness and compassion. Must be keep the home hygienic. This is not a job where you can talk on the phone, sitting down all day. This is a job for someone who is serious about caring for elderly people and take pride in their job. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
