Hands-on Elder Care Needed In Forest Hills

I'm looking for hands-on care for my mother in her late 70s, who's been gradually growing weaker in recent months. We will need an aide for a couple days a week in the morning, for a couple hours each day. We're looking for someone who's flexible during the weekday mornings, since the schedule will depend on my work. She has trouble with mobility and eyesight. Though she can walk slowly by herself within the apartment, she needs support handling some tasks. Plus, she would benefit from companionship and social interaction. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation and light housekeeping. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. Part of the responsibilities will also include running nearby errands and appointments on occasion. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets as our small friendly dog sometimes visits.
