About who needs care: I would like someone for my mother who is almost 82. She needs someone to come for a few hours twice a week. Needs someone who can drive. Also, she needs someone who will listen to her and talk about her life growing up. She has slight cognitive decline, but only very minor. About the care needs: Needs to drive a car and bring my mom places nearby for shopping and some doctors appointments. She needs someone who is not bossy and will be kind and listen to her many stories. Mom has slight cognitive decline, but nothing major. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
