About who needs care: Laura has dementia and is non verbal. She requires assistance with everyday activities such as eating and toileting. She does not walk and requires a lift and mobility chair. A typical day involves getting her out of bed around 8 a.m. followed by feeding her breakfast. She naps most of the morning in a recliner and has lunch at 12:00. She enjoys people talking to her and likes watching tv. At 5 p.m. she gets ready for bed. About the care needs: We are looking for someone that doesn't mind talking to some who cant respond. They must also be willing and able to operate a transfer lift help with toileting, showers, household tasks, etc. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
