About who needs care: My brother is in Momentum permanently. He is schizophrenic since he was in his 20's, he is treated for this. He also suffered a mild stroke several years ago and has a frozen left are. I am in California and visit for a few days 2-3 times a year. I take him out for drives in the area and sometimes lunch. I would like to find someone who could do the same once or twice a month. He is very intelligent and can be quite chatty, but is often in his own world. Thanks About the care needs: He needs someone who will be patient with him. Be willing to put him into a car and drive him around, perhaps take him out for a walk (in his wheel chair). I will be in New York 9-21 until 9-24 and would like to meet someone to introduce to him. Thanks. Services needed include: companionship, and mobility assistance.
