Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Centereach

About who needs care: I need someone to check in on my mother a couple times a week. I live in South Louisiana and my brother lives in Holland. I'm certain mother will not want what I'm asking you for. I've been in her house for 7 weeks and need to go home for a while to take care of some things. She's got some medical issues that need attention. My brother or I will return soon. About the care needs: Soft spoken mild mannered. Getting along with a head strong, previously independent woman. Mom knits. I don't think the caregiver would need similar hobbies. Looking for someone to come in a couple hours a day, twice a week to straighten up and check that she's taking her medicine. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
