About the job
Our family needs a part-time hands-on care for our 84-year-old mother in Amherst, NY. who lives alone in her own home. Applicant must have: a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and be able to take mother to doctor/hair appoints in their vehicle. Applicant must be willing and able to do light housekeeping, bathing, changing, grooming and provide times of companionship and social interaction. Applicant be a non-smoker and be able to pass standard background check. Applicant will be reimbursed for misc. expenses, gas, etc. Mom has a very outgoing personality. She loves to chat and visit, playing solitaire, doing puzzles and crosswords. She has bad knees and needs assistance moving around the house.
