About who needs care: My mother has dementia that is making it hard for her to make transitions. She needs help getting out of bed and dressed in the morning and getting undressed and in bed at night. My father is also present, and has slight dementia but is able to care for himself completely. About the care needs: Someone upbeat, kind and cheerful. People with dementia are very sensitive to mood and tone. Preferably someone with some experience with memory care. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
