About who needs care: My mom has Alzheimer's disease and has recently moved in with me. I work full time and need someone to care for her while I am at work. My mom is a sweet lady who is still trying to maintain her independence while battling this disease. My mom is a retired social worker and loves music, dancing, painting and exercising. I would like a provider who can assist her with her daily living skills and also take her to senior activities, which could provide her a better quality of life. Must have experience working with Alzheimer's patients and references to support. About the care needs: Must have patience and a sense of humor. My mom needs constant reminders to complete basic daily tasks. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
