I'm looking for a caregiver for my 78-year-old mother. She is ambulatory at home and can climb stairs but uses a wheelchair or walker outdoors. Sometimes she needs help up from the floor (we have a Hoyer lift). The ideal match will be patient and attentive and not spend the day on their phone. Ideally, the aide will perform tasks without my mother needing to remind her. Experience with those with mild cognitive impairments and aphasia is necessary. Light housekeeping involves making the bed, warming meals, doing the dishes and laundry, and cleaning my mother's commode. She needs help brushing her teeth and toweling dry after baths. Part of your responsibilities will include taking my mother to appointments in the city. Medication management is required. Thank you!
