We're looking for someone 24/7 to provide care and companionship and willing to be on the books through the VA. Must drive (we have a car) and speak english (hard of hearing) , cook meals and be conscious of diabetics food restrictions. Dad is on insulin which he gives to himself but needs it measured for him, he has a blood sugar monitor, does his own bathing but needs help w dressing at times. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker. Caretaker to do lite laundry and we need caretaker to keep his mind active with walks, drives and games.
