About who needs care: My aunt lives in a nursing home in the Pine Bush area of Albany. She has dementia, is 99, and can no longer feed herself. She is a slow eater. I am looking for someone to go to the nursing home to feed her 2-3 times a day. About the care needs: Affinity for the elderly, understanding of dementia, compassionate. Note: this site requires me to pay to see any applications. I apologize to all who applied prior to 12/30/24 11 a.m. Prior to hiring, I have to hear back from the nursing home to see if they have any guidelines about someone from outside the facility coming in to feed a resident. I will update here when I know more. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
