Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Washoe Valley

About who needs care: Need care for my 89-year-old father. My 85-year-old mom has been taking care of him, but she will need temporary care soon as she is having knee replacement surgery 4/15/25. He has COPD from early life in agriculture. Lives in Washoe Valley and is interested in farm ranch life and hobbies, cattle, horses, etc. Ideal day is to get up, have leisurely breakfast and morning meds. Do chores around house. Maybe doctor appointments or physical therapy. Afternoon lunch and maybe some errands and read or take afternoon siesta. He is mobile, but refuses to use cane or walker unless forced. Does not manage his own meds or cleaning his CPAP. About the care needs: They need to have a good sense of humor, but be willing to tell him if his comments bother them or are inappropriate. Male or female would be fine. It would be nice if they could do lunch out occasionally and run errands, i. e. go to the bank, pick up prescriptions. He can do these things but needs driver. He is interested in Agriculture, travel, politics a wide range of things. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
