We are looking for additional senior care providers for our 91-year-old mother, Kay. She lives with her daughter who is a flight attendant, so we need variable hours: 24/7 care when Kay's daughter is away at work and short shifts to give her daughter a break when she's home. We have a primary caregiver but are looking for additional help with 4-6 hour shifts, 2-3 times a week, and occasional overnight assistance (primarily with toileting) so that her daughter can sleep. We understand this schedule may not be manageable for one person, so we are open to caregivers for various shifts. Kay was independent and enjoyed a busy social life until February, when she sustained a significant fall. She is ambulatory but less steady, so she needs some assistance dressing, bathing, and getting out of the house daily for an errand or walk.
