About who needs care: My elderly mom is easygoing , flexible , sweet but moody and can be stubborn once you get to know her. She has a challenge in short term memory . She mostly likes to stay in her room. Her activities depending on her mood is praying, viewing mass on TV or on app, listening to various music, some reading, going through letters, her documents , records, her things from past, arranging and rearranging her room, doing qi gong, playing cards, talking about past memories, going through photos, eating. Facilitating these activities and guiding her from one activity to the next is main part of her job. Some cleaning after she eats, cleaning her surroundings and areas in her bedroom. Doing more activities with guidance. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
