About who needs care: Mom has mobility limitations. She can easily fall so she needs to have someone with her all the time. She has been very active even with her walker, up until the last 6 mos or so. My step dad just needs some relief a few days a week so he can get out of the house for a few hours. About the care needs: Mom was an avid hiker and backpacker. Led many trips through the Club and other hiking groups she started. She had to give up camping this past year and they sold their motor home because it was getting to be too much. She would be out camping several times a month during spring, summer, and fall months. She does not like to be fussed over, but she knows she needs help. She enjoys card games and word searches, Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
