About who needs care: FIL has foley catheter but is ambulatory-unsteady MIL healing from hip fx and walks slowly-unsteady Both cook very minimally, need supervision for FIL for shower-make sure he doesn't fall. Tidy up house, do laundry, change bed sheets. FIL loves to talk politics (faux pas) so caregiver must be able to ignore or tolerate this. About the care needs: Companionship for few hours, gives them something to talk about other than Fox news. MIL used to love sewing, quilting, knitting. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
