About who needs care: My father is recovering from a prostate procedure and has a catheter in until Monday, Feb 24. He has been taking care of my mother, who has severe sciatic pain that makes her close to immobile; sometimes she can get around with a walker, sometimes she is pretty much bedridden, depending on her pain levels. She is scheduled for spinal surgery on March 31, so we are hoping to get some interim care for her so my dad can focus on his own healing. About the care needs: My parents are very social, and would enjoy a caregiver who likes to chat. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
