About who needs care: My Mom is still in charge of things, has short term memory loss and is in a transport chair, pushes herself around with her feet. Still independent. Needs help around the house, errands and with meals. Might progress as she is unable to do things. About the care needs: A mature caregiver is a better fit, or a very experienced person with seniors. Someone who can look around and figure out what needs to be done, rather than have to be told everything to do. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
