Accompanying Weekly Grocery Store Trips And Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Santa Fe

Seeking errand and companion care near Santa Fe for my mother in her 70s. She has mild dementia and doesn't live in memory care unit yet but has a very bad short-term memory and struggles with executive functioning and critical thinking skills. We're looking for someone to provide companionship and weekly trips to the grocery store with her. She is a recovering alcoholic and cannot buy or consume alcohol and you'll need to help monitor this during grocery shopping. You'll also be responsible for transporting to/from doctor and dentist appointments and will need to keep track of paperwork and be present in those appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with cats and CPR / first-aid trained.
