About who needs care: My neighbor , Marion, is a Vietnam Veteran and is 80 years old. He needs someone to help keep his patio home clean, cook meals or pick up food, He use to play a lot of golf, but now stays home and watches movies and sports programs all day. He lives alone and is very pleasant to be around. He was having intestinal problems which weakened him, causing him to go the hospital here and in Lubbock, Texas. He is currently at Sunset Villa and doing physical therapy. He wants to to be at home for in home care and do his therapy at home. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
