About who needs care: We are looking for help with diaper changes on a large, 260lb, 85-year-old man. He's cheery and friendly. We are hoping to bring him home and make him comfortable during his last years. He's had two strokes and suffers from aphasia. We have a hospice nurse who handles the big things, we just need help with diaper changes 2-3 times a day. About the care needs: A good fit for our family would be someone RELIABLE and caring, clean and organized, and committed to their craft. No specialized skills are needed, just muscles and a healthy back. Applicants should be professional, well-groomed, and kind. This job would be perfect for a student or someone needing a part-time position, with an ability to work through an agency. (Medicare/Medicaid pays) Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
