My current caregiver can help with training. We use a Hoyer type lift attached to the ceiling of my bedroom that goes under my knees and shoulders to transfer me from wheelchair to toilet chair that rolls over my standard toilet in my bathroom. It works pretty well and doesn't require anyone to physically lift me. The deal breaker for some is having to wipe my butt with a wet wipe, I'm pretty clean and use a portal bidet first that takes care of most of the cleaning before the wipe. So basically, you would show up at 7:30 a.m. and help me with making breakfast, put me on the toilet around 8:30 a.m. and get me dressed for the day. Then the last hour or so would be some light cleaning, load dishwasher, etc.
