Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Albuquerque

About who needs care: Mom is 99 +10 months, her BD is 1/3. Coming up! She was a registered nurse and primarily worked at the VA in ABQ for almost 40 years. She has a history of A-fibrillation and hypertension, both controlled with a pacemaker and meds. She has a significant hearing loss and uses hearing aids. She has lost her vision due to glaucoma over this last year which has accelerated her disability, and she now struggles with dementia. She has osteoporosis and requires help for walking and transfers and toileting/bathing. About the care needs: Outgoing individual who can bring up conversations and visit with mom. She loves to talk and it helps her anxiety and fears due to dementia. Being bilingual would be great but is not a requirement, mom speaks English and Spanish. We may need overnight or even live-in care soon. My stepfather is 89 years old and they want to remain in their home and not go to assisted living. Mom has 3 children: 2 in California and one in ABQ. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
