About who needs care: -Diabetic with low sodium, low potassium dietary needs for breakfast, lunch and dinner prep. -Works in the yard, or on his house repairing -Often reluctant to leave house after pandemic but would benefit from small outings -Weekly cleaning and pickup/straighten clutter About the care needs: Your personality should be able to handle gruff, sometimes grumpy exterior. The right person would see through the way he presents himself as either not feeling well, sugar is off or just not having the best day. Even better if you have a good understanding of diabetes and the ups and downs of it. He has a lifetime of hard working responsibility to family and seems to struggle with finding things of interest outside the home. He watches the news, sports, etc. He lves independently alone, is beginning to struggle with providing himself with healthy choices for meals. Recent illness has caused physical weakness and he is rehabbing for strength and conditioning. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
