About who needs care: Has Macular Degeneration so limited vision, artistic craftsman but limited by his eyesight now. Social with church friends limited by transportation at times. Likes to keep busy with projects but again more limited by eyesight. About the care needs: He is not going to like to feel like someone is "hovering" over him. He has someone to come clean the house 2x a month, would benefit from help with meal prep (lunch and dinner), laundry, organizing, errands on occasion, help with reading papers and mail, shopping although family is able to arrange for shopping or grocery delivery. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
